In an interview with FRANCE 24, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva discussed the Israel-Hamas war and its economic impact on the Middle East. Georgieva said the IMF has negotiated a new loan deal with Jordan and plans on doing the same with Egypt to help these countries mitigate the financial fallout from the war.
